Universal Sikh is non-profit organization whose purpose is to explain the message of the Sikh religion in a simple and accessible way. An effort is made to explain concepts of the Sikh religion, the Sikh code of conduct, Sikh customs, and aspects of Sikh history through the teachings of Gurbani.

Dr. Simran Singh

USA

A practicing physician in the US, he has grown up in the American Sikh community and is passionate about sharing the message of Sikhism by explaining Gurbani in English. Throughout the years, along with his wife Mansi, has been teaching Gurbani to children at the Gurudwara Sahib in Michigan and has been a front runner at organizing various Gurmat Camps. Simran and his father have been instrumental in developing a well-acclaimed English explanation of Jap(u) Ji Sahib. At Universal Sikh, Simran has been at the forefront in partnering with Dr. Manpreet Singh to develop the video content.

Dr. Manpreet Singh

New Delhi

Manpreet Singh is a renowned Sikh Katha Vachak, has also been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Guru Nanak Studies at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar as well as at Central University of Kashmir, Srinagar. Manpreet has presented a paper on Interfaith Studies at an international conference organized by United Nations at Guru Nanak Darbar Dubai, UAE. Manpreet has represented India at Phnom Phen, Cambodia as a Keynote speaker on Sri Guru Nanak Devji’s life and teachings. Under his patronage here Universal Sikh presents a series of videos on the learnings and teachings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

Jasleen kaur

Gurugram

Jasleen is Head of Marketing and Public Relations, at Benetton, India. She is an alumnus of IIT Delhi & MDI Gurgaon.  She is also a poet, has authored a poetry book, Ginger and Honey. In the year 2019, Woman Economic Forum recognized Jasleen as an exceptional woman of excellence.
